In our metals studio, you are only limited by your imagination. Our goal is to teach you the skills you need and help you improve on those skills to achieve your objectives in metalsmithing. Whether it is jewelry, small sculpture or something else, our new state of the art metals studio is well equipped to help you realize your vision of what you want to create.

All About Metals

Students will be introduced to the fundamentals of metalworking.

Beginning Enamels

Enameling is the ancient art of fusing colored glass to metal with high heat to produce an astounding array of effects.

Friday Night Out: Sterling Silver Etched Pendant

Create an etched pendant with a design of your own.  Learn the etching process from start to finish.

Beginning Metals

This class is designed for the beginner and for continuing students wishing to strengthen their skills.  Students will be introduced to the fundamentals of metalworking.

Sterling Silver Tube Set Earrings

Experience the thrill of making your own jewelry!  Make a pair of earrings for yourself, a friend, or a loved one.  Learn how to set faceted cubic zirconium stones into a tube set. 

Metal Casting

This class will be an introduction to the casting process.

Copper Jellyfish

Jellyfish are captivating creatures. Come make you own version of a jellyfish out of copper. No experience necessary.


Intermediate & Advanced Classes

Experienced ceramicists, working independent of class times, will find this space well equipped and user-friendly. You can use the studio on a per week basis (Tuesday – Saturday), with a low studio fee and firing charges.

Workshops are primarily available on Saturdays. These workshops may vary in price, time, and availability per age group. The short one day workshops will help focus in key areas in ceramics.
