Class Description

Pâte de verre is "paste of glass". A clay form is created and a high-temperature mold is made from it. Crushed glass, called frit, is made into a paste and used to line the mold. The mold with the glass is then put into a kiln and fused to create a solid glass piece. Pâte de verre can be used to create vessels or small sculptures. It is a very unique and interesting way to work with fusing glass. Come join us!
