Keith McGuire is a water colorist, graphic designer and art teacher. His works have been strongly influenced by the locations he has lived. West Florida, the hill country of Texas, and the Big Island of Hawaii have nurtured a deep love of nature and a variety of environments. He currently resides in the beautiful town of Saline, MI, just outside of Ann Arbor.
As a watercolor artist, Keith’s paintings have always leaned toward a realistic interpretation of nature, birds being of the greatest inter- est. Lately, his interest has turned Back to Florida, trying to find what's left of the flora and fauna of his youth within the suburban sprawl of Sarasota and Venice, Florida.
Recently Keith has started working with the new art center in Clinton, MI., appropriately named the Clinton Arts Center.
A graphic designer for many institutions in the Saline area, Keith creates a balance between fine art, graphic design, and teaching that keeps him slightly crazy, but never bored!
